Acceptance of Terms
EZ Roofing provides a range of roofing services including inspections, repairs, maintenance, installations, replacements, and emergency roofing response. By proceeding with our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. This document constitutes a legally binding agreement between you (the “Client” or “Customer”) and EZ Roofing (the “Company”). If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not proceed with our services.
Services Provided
EZ Roofing offers a comprehensive range of roofing solutions, including new roof installations, full roof replacements, emergency roofing services, detailed roof inspections, targeted repairs, and ongoing preventative maintenance programs — all designed to extend the life of your roofing system and protect your investment.
All services are carried out by trained professionals using quality materials and in strict accordance with industry standards. EZ Roofing holds all required licenses and insurance, and complies fully with New York State building codes and safety regulations.
Estimates and Pricing
All estimates provided by EZ Roofing are based on information that is visually available at the time of assessment. Unless otherwise specified, pricing is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issuance. Estimates may be subject to change due to unforeseen conditions uncovered during work, significant fluctuations in material costs, or a difference in project timeline.
Emergency services may be subject to a different pricing structure given their urgent nature and after-hours requirements. While we strive to offer competitive and fair pricing, our commitment to quality and lasting results remains our top priority.
Payment Terms
Payment terms are detailed in the service agreement or contract provided to each customer. As a general rule, a deposit is required before work begins, with the remaining balance due upon project completion. For larger projects, a milestone-based payment schedule may be established. We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards in accordance with our current payment processing policies.
Warranties and Guarantees
EZ Roofing stands behind the quality of our work. We provide workmanship warranties covering installations and repairs performed within a defined timeframe, in addition to manufacturer warranties on materials used.
Warranty coverage requires that the roofing system be properly maintained as recommended by our team. Coverage may be voided by damage caused by natural disasters, improper use, unauthorized alterations by third parties, or neglect. Adhering to our maintenance recommendations is essential to preserving both your warranty and the long-term performance of your roof.
Limitations of Liability
EZ Roofing carries full general liability and workers’ compensation insurance. However, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid to EZ Roofing for the specific services in question. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from roofing work, including minor inconveniences, temporary loss of access, or damage to property not directly related to the scope of work.
Customers are responsible for removing or protecting personal belongings from all work areas prior to the arrival of our team. Any pre-existing damage or conditions discovered during the project will be documented and reported to the customer.
Right to Cease Work
Failure to make timely payments constitutes a breach of agreement and grants EZ Roofing the right to suspend all work, services, and warranties until the outstanding balance is settled. Upon resumption, a revised project schedule will be issued that accounts for the suspension period, along with any additional costs incurred as a result of the delay.
Permits and Compliance
EZ Roofing will obtain all necessary permits required by local building regulations for roofing work. Permit costs will be included in the project quote unless otherwise stated. All work will be performed in compliance with applicable laws, manufacturer guidelines, and accepted industry practices.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate property information and disclosing any homeowner association (HOA) requirements that may affect the scope of work. Additional costs resulting from undisclosed compliance requirements or permit delays outside the contractor’s control will be the responsibility of the customer.
Weather and Scheduling
Roofing work may be affected by rain, snow, high winds, or other unsafe weather conditions. EZ Roofing reserves the right to postpone or reschedule work when weather or site conditions do not meet safety standards. Customers will be notified of any weather-related schedule changes as promptly as possible, and we will make every effort to minimize inconvenience.
In the event of weather-related damage, emergency protective measures will be taken only when it is safe to do so. The safety of our crew and the protection of your property are our highest priorities in all weather-related decisions.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for ensuring clear and unobstructed access to the work area, including the removal of vehicles and other obstacles. Property owners should inform household members and neighbors of the scheduled work to promote safety and minimize disruptions. All pets must be kept away from work areas throughout the duration of the project.
Customers are encouraged to communicate any concerns or questions as they arise during the work. A final walkthrough with the project supervisor is strongly recommended before signing any completion documents. Any outstanding issues should be raised at that time while our team is still on-site.
Modifications and Cancellations
Any modifications to these Terms and Conditions must be made in writing and signed by both parties. Changes to the project scope or specifications will be documented in writing and may affect the project timeline and pricing.
Either party may cancel services with written notice. Depending on the stage of the project and any materials already ordered or delivered, cancellation fees may apply. EZ Roofing will always make reasonable efforts to resolve any disputes before cancellations or suspensions are enacted.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New York State. Any disputes arising from these terms or the services provided shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction located in New York. In the event that EZ Roofing must defend these terms or pursue payment for services rendered, the customer agrees to reimburse EZ Roofing for reasonable attorney and court fees incurred.
